Easy to see why Sarah Palin has to hide from the media. Even her recitation of the talking points is so incoherent at times that it's almost shocking. I had no idea it'd be this bad. Tell me Katie Couric isn't a better option...
I'm not trying to be a jerk about this; but this is the reality we find ourselves in today. A potential President who cannot articulate common knowledge is the same kind of President who will invent a new doctrine of "pre-emptive" war and the necessity of the rich getting richer.
I think the American public has voted with their ratings on what they think of Katie Couric. A disaster as an anchor person. It will surprise me if she is not gone from the evening news scene at the end of the election.
Sarah was Wright on concerning the bailout package. MAC suspended his campaign to deal with a crisis. Obama called it a stunt to maybe get out of the debate. But, if it passes, give credit to MAC for coming to Washington and twisting some arms of his own party. Now, that is leadership.
MAC will not win, as his own party does not support him, as he has not toed the party line on matters. He and Joe Libberman have voted for the country and not the party. After the election neither one will have a party to come home to, politics as usual.
It is too bad that MAC has been Wright on about the surge, Lebanon, Somalia, the two wars - at odds with his own Presidents on security matters - Biden and Obama have been dead wrong on these issues that it makes one wonder where does their support come? History repeats itself, appeasement has put democracy at risk in the past, but alas it must come again.
