Because my eldest brother is married, of course.
Hi, I'm Regan, this is my weblog. I haven't been around much lately, so I thought I may re-introduce myself. This past weekend, Trey and Haley tied the knot in a lovely service in North Dallas. It was the culmination of a very long week for me personally, so it was nice to unwind a little bit and get to see some old friends I haven't seen in quite a while.
Cable and Hi-Speed Internet were installed this evening, so I'm excited about that. I've been in the internets wilderness and it's not fun. The installer boofed the installation of cablecards into my tivo hd, but we'll get that sorted out, I'm sure. It's just nice to have a connection back to the outside world.
Work is going very well; enjoyed some successes and some embarrassing mistakes already! I've traveled more than I thought I would and it has led to some seriously long-feeling weeks. But I guess they don't call me "Research and Development Chef" for my devilish sense of humor. I guess they think I should work like one too!
I'm feeling more and more at home in the new apartment. Most of this due to the brand-new TV I purchased, but also because boxes are starting to be unpacked a little and it actually looks like someone might actually live here, not just store there belongings amongst the rooms.
But there's a nice calmness with feeling more settled, and I feel it.
Your brother got married where we did. How fun!
