Last night, I attended the kickoff event for the Anju Gill Foundation. It was a neat evening at Bend Studio in Dallas featuring two singer/songwriters. Rahim Quazi was up first and offered a soulful folksy sound, reminiscent of Amos Lee. Salim Nourallah played last.
The foundation's focus will be that of promoting Texas singer/songwriters and providing financial means for those to show their passions.
