I ran into a video of Keith Olbermann on MSNBC responding to Donald Rumsfeld's speech from a few days back. If you haven't read or heard about it, Rumsfeld was addressing the American Legion in Salt Lake City and compared the War on Terror to the war against Nazi Germany. Barring the complete idiocy of that analogy, Rumsfeld continued by calling anyone opposed to this Administration immoral and ignorant.
I know that no one cares, because we're fat and happy Americans. I know most of you won't watch the video, probably didn't hear about the speech, or don't even read the news. Don't get me wrong, that's your right. But we've got an out-of-control Administration right now leading deeper and deeper and deeper into shit. They don't care about us, nor do they want to be bothered by our questions. Many historians are calling this the worst Administration in American history, which begs the question of where are the American people?
Not reading this post, I bet. Hopefully our Winston Churchill will come from the back...
this is a great video. although i admit it's still strange for me to see keith olbermann and not picture him doing sportscenter, i do think that he is one of the few who is brave enough to say exactly what he is thinking in full without watering it down for fear of upsetting the administration or simply going along with some of the ridiculous notions of said administration (ahem... fox news).
