I admit, I had been a normal American this week: dumb to international news. Also, the lack of weblogs covering the events in Israel and Lebanon had limited my exposure to what's going on. I suggest everyone pick up the New York Times or CNN to see what's going on. Israel spent several weeks attacking Palestine in response to a soldiers' kidnapping. Now, they're blaming Lebanon for rocket attacks and kidnappings and have attacked targets in Beirut.

I read one account that said that Israel is posturing to attack Syria as well, then maybe Iran. The leaders of Russia, Germany, France and Britain all expressed their concern over Israel's actions, mainly them being disproportionate to what others had done to Israel. Sadly though, the United States authority is diminished by this jackass we've got as President, so who knows what'll happen. If things keep going poorly and Israel is attacked, the US will have to become involved. More war ahead, it seems..
