July 27, 2005 07:26 PM: pataki 08

Pataki announced he wasn't going to run for Governor in NY, thus leaving open a run for the White House. I found this picture while looking for one of him and it underscores what I think will happen. I was going to pose a question: How many times will George Pataki say "terrorist," "September 11th", and "freedom" in the next 3 1/2 years? I'm guessing about 10,000. The three of them combined? At least a million....

July 18, 2005 06:29 PM: today i laughed

I've lamented the fact that I have to listen to Fox News every day at work in the past, but today I enlighten by the President. He's going to wait, find out the facts, and then he'll comment on how Rove id'd a secret agent as political retribution. It's a good thing he showed such restraint, you know, you wouldn't want him rushing to a decision. After all, this isn't a war or anything......

July 9, 2005 09:55 PM: finally, it's interesting

The first week of the Tour is always pretty boring. It's always long, flat stages. Mix in a few crashes, and numerous shots of guys taking a leak, and you've got some pretty mediocre racing. Until now, the Tour looked completely over. Armstrong put a minute into all of his competitors on the first day and no one did anything for the rest of the week. Enter the first mountain. Discovery Channel has some great climbers and there's usually at least two of them with Lance on most every...

1) If anyone needs a job, I'm looking. You need to be hardworking, responsible, and funny. Most importantly funny, because well, work can be boring sometimes. 2) If you answered Yes to number 1, then I must tell you something. The TV in the pizza/deli is currently set on Fox News 24 hours a day. It's painful. It's not too loud though, and it's easy to ignore. But if you're like me, the moving pictures will draw you in and you'll realize that you're getting dumber. Today, I heard a...

July 4, 2005 03:12 PM: ratings

i've always wanted to do something where i could list out movies i've watched, cd's i've listened to, and books i've read. most of the reason is because i want to remember that i've seen or heard it, but also so i can share my quick thoughts on the particular piece of media. enter the ratings on the right sidebar. at the moment, it's garish in looks, but functional. i'm going to make it better and more aestheticly pleasing, but until that point, this is how it'll be. hopefully, i...
