Can someone tell me how city curfews for teenagers don't violate civil rights?
more: I was just wondering if anyone knew the specific reasons that city's can have ordinances banning being outside after 11. i just don't think it's right that you can tell people they have to be somewhere at a certain time because of the so-called bad things that happen late at night. Sure there is a lot of drinking, sex, drugs, and partying going on, but why should everyone be lumped into a category of doing bad? what if you were just going to a late-movie, that's not bad. it just seems like the city government is stepping across lines that they shouldn't be able to cross.
