There's a guy, richard thompson, on NPR today who has made a cd of songs from the last 1000 years. On the program, he sings quite a few of them and it's really great. He starts off with one of the first rounds from 1000 a.d. and then works his way into jazz, folk, and even Britney Spears' "oops, i did it again". It'll make you laugh, but he really pulls it off really well. You wouldn't completely hate the song if you heard this guy sing it!
