i love the gin blossoms. i can't really tell you why. maybe it's the fact that it's perfect road-trip music. I remember driving around colorado in church vans jamming out to Alison Road and Hey Jealousy. i only now appreciate the fact that our youth minister was not constrained by the political church crap that many fall victim to nowadays. we listened to good music, not music approved by the associate pastor or whoever makes the decisions. we listened to the doobie brothers, arlo guthrie, the eagles, and many others who would probably never be exposed to. the scariest part? the gin blossoms cd came out ten years ago and yet i remember it vividly. i feel older now.
