MarketStreet had a book signing for Bob Knight's book "My Story" today from 9-11. He signed right at 800 books in exactly 2 hours. I worked out the math, and that means he signed 7 books a minute. Wow. We had one lady arrive at the store at 5AM to be first in line, which is funny because a few minutes before 11 there was no longer a line and they were getting the same treatment as the early people. After he finished signing he got up and went back into the office, leaving his sharpie he'd been using all morning to sign books. Guess who now has that pen? You guessed it. I thieved it right out from under him! I'm now the proud of owner of two autographed books and the marker he used to sign all the books! sweet!
