Rachel Urnosky
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock. She died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001. She was born Jan. 15, 1979, in Knoxville, Tenn., and graduated from Frenship High School in 1996. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech with a bachelor of science degree in merchandising and a minor in business management and marketing in August 2000. She worked at the Buckle in Hurst. She was an officer with the Baptist Student Mission at Tech. She was on the Dean's Council in the College of Human Sciences Department at Tech. She was a member of First Baptist Church and participated in spring break mission trips. Survivors include her parents, Terry and Pam Urnosky of Lubbock; maternal grandparents, Alex and Marie Marion of Knoxville, Tenn.; and three sisters, Kristen Carey, Amy Tadlock and Kelly Urnosky, all of Lubbock.
