this has been a weird day...
last night i missed the Derek Webb show here in town. We got out of class late and i was tired so i went home. Tonight, I check the messages on my answering machine for a different reason and there's one message. A message from a Mr. Derek Webb thanking me for helping them get the word out about the concert. That is correct, the lead singer of Caedmon's Call called me! Caedmon's is my favorite band of all time and just to hear the man himself say my name and ramble on about how he hoped i get to make it to the show left me giddy and nervous!
in other news...
my new Dave Matthews CD is already skipping. i don't understand, i took it out of the case and put it straight into the changer. I bet it's because my changer is dumber than I. Many times it'll stop and move CD's around and leave them in other cd's spots which confuses the whole system. The Dave CD got stuck one over and i bet that's what screwed it up. Glad i ripped and burned it already.
I got my adjusted paycheck today for all the money they've been screwing me for the last 5 months. I worked like 14 hours last week and my paycheck was $294. amazing huh?
